Dear Kellie & Staff, I want to begin by saying "thank you." Since March when covid appeared, I have been a basket case of emotions. We went back and fourth on what we should do, questioning ourselves as if we were making the right decision to continue or not. As time went on I knew my Husband and I had made the right decision to continue with our wedding on a smaller scale then originally planned. Which that was no big deal to us. When I met with Kellie a month before the wedding, she restored my faith that everything would be perfect, and my fairytale wedding would continue in a covid safe matter. Kellie wasn't lying when she said she would do whatever she could in her power to keep us and our guests for safe. The venue was 100% covid safe between 6 feet distance of tables, clear shields up for food and bar, markers on the floor to enforce a stronger 6 foot rule, hand sanitizers in every corner, taking away self serve buffet but still making it buffet in a new way, and lastly putting tables outsides for people who came that didn't feel safe enough to hang inside. Kellie's staff was SO respectful of everyone's space, made sure they had their masks on (even though they are so uncomfortable, I give it up to you girls for that!), and the ladies at the bar for serving. I had so many people tell me that the lasagna was some of the best they have ever had, be sure to try it! Towards the end of the night the staff was helping pick up the decorations so I could get a last dance in with my Husband and enjoy the last few moments of our wedding. It is the little things that don't go unnoticed, the staff didn't have to help necessarily but out of the kindness of their hearts they did! Forever grateful to enjoy the last few moments without having to worry about packing decorations during the music, thanks girls! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Know we are so grateful for you all! You ALL went above and beyond to make our wedding amazing! You all rock! I would highly recommend Peakes Hill Lodge to anyone getting married in the near future, it's a hidden gem that I feel incredibly lucky to have found.
